Rotem Frimer
Rotem Frimer is a London-based composer, producer, singer/songwriter and MA graduate of the National Film and Television School, where she received the Avid Award for Excellence.
In 2024, Rotem scored projects including the BBC docu-drama series Renaissance: The Blood and the Beauty starring Charles Dance, as well as Netflix's three-part true crime series The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso, produced by Pulse Films. Her other work included Disney/Nat Geo’s feature documentary Cleopatra’s Final Secret and an upcoming feature documentary about climate change. Rotem also wrote additional music for Paramount+’s series The Crow Girl, composed by Adam Price, and assisted composer Arthur Sharp for the Apple TV+ series Prime Target and Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch on her score for The Assessment (2024).
In 2025, Rotem scored BBC’s 6-part drama series Wild Cherry, produced by Firebird Pictures and written and produced by the BAFTA-winning Nicole Lecky.
Rotem also composed the score for Morgan: Metal Detective, a cosy first-person game, which was officially selected for SXSW Sydney 2024. Other credits include BAFTA Yugo-nominated short documentary Milk, BAFTA Scotland-nominated short documentary Clean, and music editing Channel 4's RTS award-winning PARTYGATE.
Alongside her work for screen, Frimer collaborated with choreographers Imre & Marne van Opstal in 2023 on ‘Mommy, Look!’, a 30-minute dance piece commissioned by Theatre Basel. She also co-composed Imre Van Opstal’s multi-award-winning dance film ‘Endurance’ (2022).
Frimer began her career as part of the music duo Shelly & Rotem, who toured worldwide following the release of their EP ‘Between Shores’ (2013). After she self-produced their debut album ‘Some Things Can Change’ (2016), Frimer ventured into producing for other artists alongside working as a session guitarist and bass player for other bands.
