Jamal Green
Jamal Green is a British composer currently based in the UK. He was the sole recipient of the 2022 BAFTA Breakthrough Award for composing and in 2023 worked on the Sky comedy-drama series Breeders and the ITV comedy G'Wed. In 2021 Jamal scored the BAFTA award-winning game TOEM by Something We Made, which followed on from his work on Konami Digital Entertainment's flagship release Skelattack in 2020.
Jamal is a highly praised and celebrated composer, having been featured in Sony Masterworks & Milan Records BLACK MUSIC MONTH celebration alongside 5 other selected composers, including Labrinth and Terence Blanchard.
His music has also been featured on 15,000+ playlists, including 3 Spotify editorial playlists (The Most Beautiful Songs in the World, The Wind Down, and Lost In The Woods) as well as 5 FILTR (Sony Music Entertainment) playlists from the USA, Germany and France.
To tie in with the release of Skelattack's soundtrack, Jamal was invited to create a "takeover" playlist to feature on the official PlayStation™ Music Spotify account: Skelattack: Songs That Inspired Jamal Green's Score.
Konami Digital Entertainment also partnered with MONDO to create a special edition and standard edition of a 2 LP vinyl release for the soundtrack.
