​Ego Plum

Ego Plum is amusician, award-winning composer, and producer whose distinctive sound andunique sensibility has made him the musical king of quirky animation. He haslent his creative talents to numerous films & series including the upcomingWarner Bros. Animation feature Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires, the Netflix animated series The Cuphead Show! for which Ego was nominated for an Emmy and won an Annie Award,  AmyWinfrey’s hit series Making Fiends, Nickelodeon’s series Harvey Beaks – for which he assembled the studio’s first 60-pieceorchestra - and Nickelodeon’s cultural touchstone series SpongeBobSquarepants.

Ego first gotthe attention of Nickelodeon in 2008 with his unabashedly original score for MakingFiends, and has since scored otheranimated series including Welcome to the Wayne and Disney’s StarVs. The Forces Of Evil. His musical subversionshave also been recently heard in the HBOMax animated Hanna-Barbara series Jellystone, for which he writes both score and songs, and two projects set in theSpongebob Squarepants universe, Kamp Koral and The Patrick Star Show.

In 2012, Egowas presented with an Ovation Honor by the Los Angeles Stage Alliance for hisRussian-inspired mechanical musical score and original songs for the GogolProject, and in the same year he completed his first orchestral score for theblack & white 35mm indie feature, The Ghastly Love of Johnny X, starringAcademy Award-winner Paul Williams.

As a musician, Plum serves as the musicaldirector of the Ebola Music Orchestra, and has toured the United States andEurope playing guitar with Grammy-nominated comedy-rock group Green Jellÿ. Hismusic canalso be heard in various live stage productions,KROQ radiobumpers, TV commercials, and fashion shows.
