Biography

Two-time GRAMMY Award-winning composer and recording artist Carla Patullo has been named by Earmilk as “one of the most relevant figures in contemporary chamber music and cinematic soundscapes.” Her film scores have earned four Hollywood Music in Media Award nominations, and she is an alumna of the prestigious Sundance Film Music Lab hosted by Skywalker Sound. Patullo recently scored the film Brother Save Us, starring Deacon Phillippe and Chandler Riggs.

Other film credits include the award-winning feature Magic Hour, starring Miriam Shor, Bitterroot, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Disney+ film Maxine starring Margaret Cho, the SXSW horror comedy hit Porno on Shudder, and the HBO Latino film My Name Is Maria De Jesus. Her music has appeared in over one hundred film and television projects, including the Sundance-winning film Spa Night, LA: A Queer History for PBS, Teen Titans Go! on The Cartoon Network, The Jennifer Hudson Show, Skins UK, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
